Thrillerdome[edit]

Has anybody got the street address handy for the Thrillerdome? That's in most of the other arenas' infoboxes; I'd put it in if I had it. Likewise the date the arena opened. C.Fred 02:38, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is there really anyone alive that called this place the Thrillerdome? As the child of an alumnus ('61) and a Tech alumnus myself ('94), the ONLY nickname I've ever heard is the Big Tit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Horsenbuggy (talkcontribs) 20:36, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Is McDonald's Center still part of the official name? I thought that got dropped when they removed the golden arches from the court, but I'm not sure. RamblinWreck 03:23, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

I've attempted to clean up the article a bit. As for the request for references, when I first made my revisions and additions to the article (See History), my references were from the externally linked page. There are only two points in the Wikipedia article that are not mentioned in that article:

1.) The Old Gym: Reference to the Old (or Heisman) Gym being the team's prior home can be found in the 2005-06 Georgia Tech media guide, which, due to the nature of media guide links changing from year to year, was not linked to the Wikipedia page. As for its demolition, that can be found in RamblinWreck.com's description of additions to the north end of Bobby Dodd Stadium, where the gym once stood.

2.) The references to WREK-FM are not mine, and I have no idea where they came from.

Whoever put in the WREK-FM references, please add information about that link.

Location Error[edit]

I was browsing Google Earth and noticed that the location for this article is misplaced. Right now, its placed on Bobby Dodd Stadium, which is very wrong. The correct coordinates are:

33o46'50.59" N, 84o23'33.98" W

I'd change this myself, but I can't figure out how.
