Doors

I changed the content in the infoobox under doors from butterfly to the number 2 but was reverted. According to Template:Infobox automobile, the doors parameter is for the number of doors. The template makes no mention of how these doors open. I recommend we follow the template guidelines. Bahooka (talk) 16:03, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

body style is for numbers of doors, doors is for how they open, on every single car article. YBSOne (talk) 22:30, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

I see where it states number of doors under body style, but the second line from the bottom shows "Number of doors/doors/Number of doors./String/optional" when explaining the doors parameter. Do the template descriptions need changing? Bahooka (talk) 00:35, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

I looked at the template talk page and saw that this issue with the doors parameter was brought up last year, too (and I even commented.) I added another comment just now. Something needs to change so we're consistent and not redundant. Bahooka (talk) 15:12, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
