Article created[edit]

The creation of this article is the result of the splitting of Meccano into three separate articles on 19 December 2005. See Talk:Meccano#Splitting this article. --Bruce1ee 14:10, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nikko update[edit]

I've moved this addition today by 80.177.50.99 from the article to here:

However it seems that subsequintly Nikko has now gone bust. The company filed for administration around the 19th of July 2007. Toymag http://www.toynewsmag.com/news/28206/Nikko-in-administration Reported the incedent.

Thank you for that and we will watch for further developments. At this stage it appears to have only affected Nikko UK and not the rest of Nikko worldwide, and it is not yet clear what impact this will have on the manufacture and distribution of Meccano. But I think let's wait until clarity has been established and then we can update the article. --Bruce1ee 14:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
