"Megalopoli Mine" article misnamed[edit]

While reading through the peer-reviewed literature with the intent to add material concerning the geology, Paleolthic archaeology, and vertebrate paleontology associated with the so-called Megalopoli Mine, I found that it is not the real name of this open-pit / strip mine. Instead I found that Megalopoli refers to the Megalopoli Basin in which the lignite-bearing sedimentary strata has accumulated. The best that I can tell, the proper name of the mine discussed in this article is the Choremi Mine. As illustrated in Figure 3 of Siavalas et al. (2009), this mine is one of four mines that produce lignite from the deposits filling the Megalopoli Basin. This article should be renamed to reflect either correct name of the mine, lignitr-bearing basin, or mining district. The latter is the Megalopoli Lignite Centre. It would be inclusive of the mines in the Megalopoli Basin and prevent having separate pages for each lignite mine. I propose that the Megalopoli Mine be renamed the Megalopoli Lignite Centre.
