David John de Lloyd/Melville De Lloyd[edit]

Would anyone have any details relating the musician and composer David John de Lloyd to the rugby footballer Melville De Lloyd? They were born within a couple of miles of each other about 35-years apart, and as according to FreeBMD the majority of de Lloyds were born in Neath district (Skewen being 2½ –miles from Neath), could they be related? The 1981 census of Morgan De Lloyd on Ancestry, shows that four of Morgan's children are currently living with him and his wife Magdalen in Aberdare. Among them are their sons Joseph De Lloyd and David John de Lloyd. Joseph De Lloyd married Beatrice Williams in 1913 according to FreeBMD. FreeBMD also shows these to be the parents of Melville De Lloyd. This makes David John de Lloyd, Melville De Lloyd's Uncle. Best Regards. --Alanaj5 (talk) 19:16, 20 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
