This article is supremely deficient[edit]

While the article takes great pains to list uses of the term in critical writing, and to source that the descriptor has been used for the examples given, this article is incredibly deficient. It doesn't give one very important thing:

It never actually defines what a memory play is.

The reader comes here, sees that the term is used and gives examples of works that have been described with the term. But to the reader unfamiliar with the works, they can only guess at the actual property that the works have in common that makes the term meaningful.

Seriously, this article is terrible. It fails at the most basic level. Completely useless. oknazevad (talk) 14:53, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
