Oppose Noo! This soup is very popularly mythological thing in China. The soup has own formula and numbers of academic papers found. The film The Ferry Man Manjusaka significantly focus on Meng Po Soup. Moreover, For Meng Po Soup, it had quite a lot of literature to explore / research the subject, see [1]. such as "孟婆汤". VocalIndia, how aware are you of Chinese mythology as someone from India? The soup and Meng Po (孟婆) goes hand in hand in Chinese mythology. Don't use Google Scholar for this. More than half that are linked, in the first few pages are articles written by secondary school students or published in student magazines, and is utilised as a metaphor. I'm from India, so what? Being a user from India, do I not have the right to know these myths? Well, I've full knowledge on Chinese mythology. 90% of my creations on wiki are Chinese mythology. Support, in full knowledge that my opinion may be given less weight as an anonymous editor and long retired contributor. While I agree that the origin or nationality of an editor has nothing to do with their expertise on any given subjet, I share the vision that Meng Po's Soup (or Tea) is simply inseparable from the myth of Meng Po herself. In fact, without mention of her brew, there is simply no reason for the mere existence of Meng Po within the Chinese pantheon.
