TV show[edit]

Shouldn't the cat food and the TV show be separate articles from one another? wikipediatrix 04:49, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest[edit]

The article looks like some enthusiastic Meow Mix fan wrote it... or someone who works there. It doesn't seem unfair however.

Jingle lyrics[edit]

Something that really annoys me (ok, what if i am obsessed with meow mix? :P ) I'm pretty sure the chicken/liver lyrics were from some stupid Austin Powers movie. Last time I checked the correct ones were:

I want salmon
I want chicken
Meow mix flavors keep me lickin'

It's okay, I changed it. Ekansonic55 15:23, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership[edit]

Wasn't Meow Mix owned By Nestle 'Purina'???

Jingle composer - Chopin?[edit]

The article mentions that the "meow meow" jingle was written by Shelly Palmer in 1970, but it seems pretty clear that the jingle is taken from the middle section of Chopin's Polonaise in A flat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polonaise,_Op._53_%28Chopin%29, at ~3:30). I wonder if that should be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by OutlawSipper (talkcontribs) 09:17, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Frequent vandalism observed[edit]

Why cat food should be a target of vandals I'll never know, but can we get this page protected? Bluecollarchessplayer (talk) 05:07, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Meow Mix Tv Shows need wiki pages[edit]

Meow Mix created 3 tv shows, and those were

Meow TV (May 30, 2003)

Meow Mix House (June 16-August 18, 2006)

Think Like a Cat (November 2008)

Only two of those shows need wiki pages, which is Meow TV and Meow Mix House (which has a section on Meow Mix's page). Please make the pages. 97.85.87.116 (talk) 17:31, 11 May 2013 (UTC) P.S. To make even more space, we need pages for List of Meow Mix Products and Meow Mix Café. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.85.87.116 (talk) 17:37, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

interesting choice of words[edit]

"The Meow Mix Theme" was written by Shelley Palmer in 1970 and performed by a singing cat" perhaps the commercial was written by Shelley Palmer in 1970 and shows what appears to be a singing cat. I don't really want to change it because of the humorous connotations, but just wanted to point it out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.16.8.23 (talk) 16:17, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jingle composer[edit]

The article credits both Shelly Palmer and Tom McFaul with the "Meow Mix Theme" composition. Which is correct? --2600:1008:B024:5C96:5980:1AD4:B2A9:E1B9 (talk) 20:57, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It seems surprising that Shelly Palmer is listed as the composer. He would have been 12 in 1970, when the theme composed. The claim is also uncited. alach11 (talk) 19:01, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
