Airdates[edit]

In Canada, the episodes are airing roughly one week earlier on MuchMoreMusic. I PVR'ed the thrash metal episode at 2:00am EST on December 24, for example, whereas the article says this episode will air on Dec 31 on VH1. Should the airdates be changed to reflect the earliest airing, which doesn't appear to be on VH1? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adrock828 (talkcontribs) 00:53, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Go with the earliest airing. This current list is inaccurate. WickedKnightAlbel (talk) 14:44, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 00:17, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the update! :) Mheart (talk) 18:44, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Summaries[edit]

Full Episode Summaries are posted on the VH1 page for this show, but they don't match the summaries in the article. Source: http://www.vh1.com/shows/metal_evolution/episodes.jhtml Should we replace the episode summaries in the article with the official ones from the VH1 page? Jtropeano (talk) 17:48, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds like it might be a copyright violation. This discussion on WP:TV seems to agree that just copy/pasting summaries from elsewhere on the web is a violation of copyright. Instead, someone should write up their own episode summaries for this article. In the meantime, I have undone the addition of material from VH1. The Heavy Metal Family Tree...[edit]

Does the Metal Evolution DVD include the Heavy Metal Family Tree as a special feature on one of the bonus discs? If so, please let me know if it does. Thanx. Mr. Brain (talk) 21:55, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Amazon DVD[edit]

Can I add a section about the Amazon direct to DVD, which is basically a "burn" that they are selling that has angered many people and caused a backlash? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RavenThePackIsBack (talkcontribs) 23:01, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Seems relevant, I would add a footnote; reference this to get the point across but don't unduly emphasise the burn-on-demand aspect. Chris W. (talk) 13:06, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

About the Heavy Metal Family Tree...[edit]

In my opinion, it's important to note the changes Sam Dunn made to his new, updated Heavy Metal Family Tree. So if it's alright, I showed his changes in this article about Metal Evolution.

Oh, and if anyone asks, I recently received a poster of Sam's famous metal family tree in the mail. It was for a donation I made to a campaign he was heading to film an episode about extreme metal. Let me know if this is legal/legit information please. Thank you. Mr. Brain (talk) 04:05, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
