Controversy Section[edit]

This is too bold to ignore. A football player rapes a minor and he is allowed to play in a championship football game??!! Incredible. Heads rolled and the program was placed on probation. 21 employees of the school know about the incident and failed to report it to the police. Incredible.

Scores/Record[edit]

This article is not the place for you to place scores and records that hold no significance to the history or substance of the school. Placing record information from years prior, information about the controversy concerning the unethical behavior of coaches and staff, and information even in relation to rankings is ok per wiki standards but the posting of scores clearly belongs in wikinews.207.250.199.126 17:13, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know where you got the idea that scores don't belong in a school's football section. Scores are listed on dozens of high school and college articles. See: Boise State Broncos football Roswell High School, 2007 Florida Gators football team and etc. There are also templates designed specifically for putting in scores: Template:CFB Schedule Start, Template:CFB Schedule End. 67knight 13:29, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikinews and Wikipedia are designed to coincide. Just because it can be housed on wikinews does not mean it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. It isn't like it is one event either, but multiple events, so a standings chart would be more appropriate to Wikipedia in reality.--Jorfer 03:08, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

High School Grade Information[edit]

The fact that every other high school in the M-D System has received a F grade does not need to be mentioned, The only thing that needs to be mentioned is the grade assigned to the school and the informationt hat has a bearing on the subject of the article. Any other information pertaining to OTHER subects can be found by the reader or placed in theat subjects article.Picklepennies88 00:42, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you. This article doesn't need to mention facts about other schools. (...And see, it is even easier to leave a note on a talk page, than it is to have an edit war). - Rjd0060 00:44, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly. This article is not about the Miami Dade High Schools it is about one particular school and information about it and only it. The mentioning of "as well as every other school" does not give the reader the ability to investigate, reflect, and determine their own conclusion on the subject at hand.Picklepennies88 00:47, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Jury Info[edit]

The information about the player needs to stay as it shows a pattern where sports was placed over policy and law.Lavalamp405 (talk) 21:42, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly. This article is not about a player it is about one particular school and information about it and only it. The mentioning of "the player" does not give the reader information on the subject at hand.(Picklepennies88 00:47, 22 October 2007 (UTC)) as your sock puppet so aptly put it last year.Triple3D (talk) 01:18, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Triple3D it shows a pattern of bad behavior. 75.134.128.140 (talk) 00:06, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Football[edit]

The 2007 season notation is enough for this article. The 2008 season is already over. Citations are available that allow the reader to research things further. If the 2007 season was so note worthy please create an article dedicated to that event.75.134.153.219 (talk) 15:59, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
