Untitled[edit]

Michael Biehn? C'mon guys. This guy's about as high-caliber as a bb gun. I like terminator and Aliens, but has he been in another movie even worth noting. OOOOOOHHHHHHH "The Rock"!!!!!!!!!

What's exactly your argument here? Michael Biehn appears in the encyclopedia I have in my library, so why shouldn't he be featured in Wikipedia?
Plus Michael Biehn is awesome.
Second. Super awesome. Most underrated actor in Hollywood, IMHO. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.107.220.11 (talk) 01:24, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Third. Mega awesome. What an ignorant and silly comment. Jealous much? Magmagoblin2 (talk) 10:54, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Fourth. Quadruple Mega Jega Ultimate awesome. I wrote the uncyclopedia article on him. www.uncyclopedia.wikia.com/Michael_Biehn --78.144.185.53 (talk) 22:42, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Favourite[edit]

"A picture of Biehn as Kyle Reese in the movie The Terminator was reproduced as the cover-art of the 1987 video game Metal Gear as the actor, who was then at the peak of his fame, was considered to have been the ideal choice to have played Metal Gear's protagonist, Solid Snake, had Metal Gear been turned into an action film."

This is my favourite sentence in all Wikipedia!

huh?[edit]

"In every James Cameron movie Michael appears in, his character is bitten on the hand by another character. This does not include Terminator 2: Judgment Day (however, Biehn is only in one scene in this film, and the scene is not part of the theatrical version; it is only available in the extended edition of the film). Also, Michael Biehn has died or been seriously injured in every James Cameron film he's appeared in, as well as most of his other roles. His character has been killed off in The Abyss, Tombstone, Terminator, The Rock and Grindhouse. Hicks survives the events of Aliens however, only to be killed off immediately at the start of the third movie. Biehn stars in the thriller Bereavement and Psych 9."

I nominate this paragraph for deletion. Send it on to imdb's trivia department, perhaps?

Fair use rationale for Image:Terminator1003.JPG[edit]

Image:Terminator1003.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:51, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please fix typo in 1st (introductory) paragraph: Judgement ------> Judgment[edit]

Hi, could someone with slightly more Wiki editing experience fix the typo in the 1st paragraph: Terminator 2: Judgement Day -----> Terminator 2: Judgment Day. (The link works.) (How does one edit a 1st paragraph, anyway?) Cheers. SaturnCat (talk) 12:18, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Best known" for Terminator 2?[edit]

Come on, he's not even in the theatrical release. Removing until the fact can be sourced: I'm specifically contesting the fact that Biehn is "best known" for Terminator 2, when most people probably didn't even know he was in a deleted scene... 90.229.34.175 (talk) 09:25, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that the fact itself is mentioned in the Career section, where it is fine:
and had a small role in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (his briefly reprised role as Reese which was removed from the theatrical release but restored in the special editions and the director's cut). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.229.34.175 (talk) 09:28, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

personal life[edit]

The latest additions are neither (un)verifiable nor original research as even a cursory googling reveals. Feel free to edit 50.102.52.6's additions since he or she did not provide any of these sources, but don't wholesale revert only to push a WP:V/WP:NOR flag in his or her face.

Here's IMDB: Spouse Jennifer Blanc (13 April 2009 - present) Gina Marsh (1 January 1988 - 3 March 2008) (divorced) 2 children Carlene Olson (11 July 1980 - 14 July 1987) (divorced) 2 children http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000299/bio

Thank you. 213.112.134.102 (talk) 17:15, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He/she didn't have a "flag pushed into his/her face". Material added to articles must be accompanied by citations of reliable sources. Those citations must be in the article, and should follow the supported material. If reliable sources can be found for that material on Google, then why not add it?
As for IMDB, sites with user-generated content, such as IMDB, Patch Media, open forums, other wikis, personal blogs of non-credentialed persons, etc. are not reliable under WP:USERG. Nightscream (talk) 03:08, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
