Rhodes Scholar[edit]

Put in a link to Fried on the Rhodes scholars page. It seems that he was studying English as a Rhodes Scholar at Merton College at the same time as Kris Kristofferson. You learn something new everyday.--Ethicoaestheticist 23:22, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Slightly opportunistic"[edit]

"It remains to be seen whether this represents a slightly opportunistic attempt to reinvest his previous concerns with currency or a genuinely productive approach to this high-profile body of work."

Now, I haven't decided whether or not I agree with everything Michael Fried says, but I must say, the above statement which is still in the article, is not at all NPOV. It's not cited, either. On top of that, it is merely slanderous speculation which fails to offer any new verified information. It goes without saying that this is not encyclopedic, and I would review the entirety of the section to which this statement belongs. 98.204.75.11 (talk) 14:57, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
