I feel like this article should be reworded. I'm willing to work on this some and would appreciate help from others. I think this article is different from most wikipedia articles because there might not be citations for every part.

One thing that stood out was " Mike taught himself to play the guitar while sitting on the arm of a couch." I believe this is referring to an interview where he said he tought Todd Nance how to play sitting on a couch with a telephone wrapped around his ear. This was stated in the earth will swallow you. I don't want to change it without hearing from whoever posted it.
