I have added a reference, an obituary from the Irish Examiner.Capitalistroadster 20:42, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Communist Party of Ireland[edit]

Why does the article state in the opening sentence that O'Riordan was a founder of the CPI, and then say later that he joined the party? If he joined the party, that seems to imply it already existed. This needs to be cleared up, yes? ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 16:11, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He led the 3rd CPI formed in 1970 - left out of this page and the CPI page. Came across as a sort of Stalinesque leader, not known in public for his jocular small talk.86.42.198.62 (talk) 15:49, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed Michael O'Riordan from the category "Former Irish Workers Party Politicans". O'Riordan was a member of the "Irish Workers Party which was founded in 1926 and later merged with the Communist Party of Northern Ireand to become the Communist Party of Ireland. This is an entirely different party to the current Workers' Party of Ireland which emerged from the original Sinn Féin.Coolavokig (talk) 09:33, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Military history/Assessment/Tag & Assess 2008[edit]

Article reassessed and graded as start class. --dashiellx (talk) 17:01, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 06:28, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
