Initial thoughts/questions/issues[edit]

I started this page on Michael Tye today. I doubt that I need to establish his notability to anyone who is familiar with the philosophy of mind, but if anyone has serious doubts, just let me know. For what it's worth, I did include a review by Bill Brewer of Oxford University in the External Links section. That should suffice for most people.

Anyway, I do not yet have a date of birth or a fair use picture of Tye. I am e-mailing him about the DOB question, but I am unfamiliar with how photo policy works. I'll be looking into it; but if anyone more knowledgeable in that area wants to get a picture in the meantime, please be my guest.

I also don't know what the policy is on including articles under the "Works" heading. I see that entries on both contemporary and historical philosophers tend to focus on their subject's books. I'll probably be cross-listing this question at WikiProject Philosophy. Postmodern Beatnik 17:54, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
