Notability[edit]

Mike Posner is a famous musician that has performed all over the country and is in talks to sign with a major label- please do not delete this page.

This is from the page: "Working with Don Cannon and DJ Benzi, Posner released his second mixtape, A Matter of Time (the first mixtape being Reflections of a Lost Teen)". Later, it says "Posner's second mixtape One Foot Out the Door, hosted by Clinton Sparks, was released on October 27, 2009". Ethnicity[edit]

Just out of genuine curiosity, does anyone know if he's Jewish? BTW, the Detroit News did a whole piece on him, today (September 22, 2009). Education[edit]

Can there be some confirmation that Mike Posner actually attended Detroit Catholic Central High School for his freshman year? I went to that highschool and I have been a fan of Posner since the release of his mixtape 'A Matter of Time', and I have never heard rumors that he attended the school until now. It was a known fact he was from Southfield and went to Groves high school, but I believe the rumor on the article that he attended Detroit Catholic Central may be false information. Concur that it needs to be confirmed. The interview on djbooth makes no reference to going to CC and says that his family moved to the suburbs because of the public school system. I'm adding a [citation needed] tag. Go CC! -- Habap '84 (talk)

how famous is he really? this sounds like a college senior who has signed a deal but has few notable accomplishments. this is not to disparage his potential achievements but as of right now, i believe he is not notable.
