Critical information about 6-year period is missing.[edit]

"In 1994, at the age of 41, Until returning in 2000 to compete in the U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship were he lost in the early stages to John Schmidt."

The above sentence is garbled and does not explain what happened in that 6-year period. I don't know, myself, so I can't correct this, though perhaps he retired for 6 years?

Also, "were he lost" should presumably be "where he lost".

Agreed, this sentence is nonsense.70.161.8.90 (talk) 12:43, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not one of the editors complaining about it. You are. Hence the reply... - wolf 22:58, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@70.161.8.90 The point is, if you are so interested in this page, (and it appears you are; you don't have a watchlist or edit daily, but you regularly check this talk page...?) why not make an effort to improve it, instead putting all your efforts into hostile talk page comments? - wolf 00:05, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
