Miles Away new single??[edit]

I know. I just meant that even for a Madonna single, it was not a hit of that degree in rest of the world also. Well, U.S., we all know how the radio is still continuing to ignore Madonna since American Life. Even 4 Minutes, the Global hit, peaked a mere 11 on the Hot 100 Airplay. Music video[edit]

I can see that a number of times music video info are put in the article but without any reference. Should we keep those or delete them? Even the fansites are without any news on the music video (at present most of the fansites are dedicted to news about the Sticky & Sweet Tour hence we can delete these mis infos. --"Legolas" (talk) 04:34, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The section on the music video at the moment should be deleted straight away, there are no references and the entire section is OR (original research). See WP:NOR. If the fansites carry no information on a music video for Miles Away, then there IS no information for a music video for Miles Away - we can't just assume and speculate and pass it off as fact. On November 30, 2008, the song entered the UK Singles Chart at #39, it is the lowest charting Madonna single since the origional release of "Borderline" in 1984. (Although this excludes "Hey You" with charted at #187 in 2007)

chart performance[edit]

Yes, well that doesn't mean she can't release another single in February, or even January. But rumours are everywhere. That doesn't mean they are true. What's Next?[edit]

I keep hearing that the Sticky and sweet Tour will be released in March and also a GHV3. Do any of you know if this is true? Final single....c'mon![edit]

I see somebody put in the beginning (again) that this is the final single, but (again) with no referrence to support it! This time I really doubt she won't release anymore singles, because madonna.com announced Madonna will resume her Sticky&Sweet Tour this summer. S&S Tour is set to promote Hard Candy, so as long as it isn't over, neither are the Hard Candy sessions. That means she can very well release more singles. Until summer, she could release two! And it is highly unprobable she'd release a Greatest Hits anytime soon (the only thing that could stop further singles), at least not before the end of the tour. Because she needs to promote this next GH with a tour, and it certainly can not be this one, as the setlist is already set. Very true, nothing proves this fact of it being the final single. Beat goes on could even be used as promotion for her tour or Greatest hits album. Also, if you notice the time between each single from her past releases with Warner Bros. "Hard Candy" wont be promoted anymore with singles. "Miles Away" is the final single. It was stated by Madonna manager. It only available to view by Icon members. http://www.madonna.com/news/news.php?uid=1147. He was asked 10 questions and one of them were:

"3) Now that Madonna has decided to extend her "Sticky and Sweet" tour, is there any chance for her to release a 4th single off her 'Hard Candy' album? I don't see that happening."
