Brands[edit]

In order to be complete, this article needs a complete list of brands under the MillerCoors distribution, like the Anheuser-Busch InBev page.

This article is now obsolete[edit]

Molson Coors: www.molsoncoors.com/ 2 days ago - With our acquisition of MillerCoors—along with the Miller brand portfolio outside the U.S.—we'll take an important step in becoming a more integrated and ...

See the revisions I have made. Should we merge this article into MolsonCoors? If not, then make further revisions re: the brand, etc. and condense it into a historic article.

On October 11, 2016, SABMiller in the U.S. sold its interests in MillerCoors to Molson Coors who had been its partner in a joint venture. Molson Coors gained full ownership of the Miller brand portfolio outside the US and Puerto Rico.

Outside the U.S., this gave Molson Coors full control over brands such as Coors Light, Miller Genuine Draft and Blue Moon. The company's annual revenue was expected to double as a result of the deal. |last=Wright |first=Lisa |date=November 11, 2015 |title=Molson Coors doubles with $12B Miller buyout |url=https://www.thestar.com/business/2015/11/11/molson-coors-doubles-with-12b-miller-buyout.html |newspaper=Toronto Star |location=Toronto |access-date=January 29, 2017. Brands section outdated[edit]

I notice the "brands" section of this article is outdated. Many of the brands listed were divested and sold to other companies following the massive industry shuffle during the AB InBev/SAB Miller merger. This looks to be a listing of brands that mostly predates that merger. It needs to be updated to reflect current holdings. --Jayron32 02:18, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

MillerCoors renamed to Molson Coors Beverage Company[edit]

I've updated the article here to reflect the fact that MillerCoors was recently renamed to Molson Coors Beverage Company. So, I think this article should also be renamed. If I'm getting this straight, the newly combined U.S. and Canadian Molson Coors Beverage Company is still a subsidiary of the multinational Molson Coors company. The multinational company is the subject of the Molson Coors Brewing Company article. Or is it? Anyway, I'm pretty sure this article should be renamed -- unless someone thinks it should be combined with the other article. Mudwater (Talk) 15:16, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
