Notable Graves[edit]

The notable graves section of this article is becoming a problem. The language is quite spectacularly POV For example, "brutal and inhumane conditions", "Loyalist killer gangs", "attacks from Orange mobs" and "member of the RUC who was suspected as being a member of a murder gang". Also, more importantly, the article is becoming a mini-biography for every person buried in the cemetery. If a person meets our nobility guideline, then they should have their own article. I've not reverted the recent edits in their entirety just yet as the editors adding the information are new to the project and may be unaware of our policies. Copyright[edit]

I'll repeat here what I wrote at Talk:National Graves Association, Belfast, that appears to have been ignored: Some of the content in this article is a copyright violation from Republican Belfast, A Political Tourist’s Guide by Robert Kerr. We cannot just cut and paste material from other sources, not least because it is illegal. That material needs to be entirely re-written and appropriately cited or else I will remove it all. If anything else has been cut and pasted into the article, that will have to be rewritten or removed too. Its also worth noting that editors who persistently add copyrighted material to articles are also liable to be blocked: If it was copyrighted material on another article, it will be copyrighted material on this article too. Again, I'll give editors a day or so to sort it out, should they choose to, before I delete it. Rockpocket 22:24, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
