Matrilineal is not necessarily matriarchal[edit]

This article quotes extensively from a single source, who is an outsider to the culture. The last couple sentences about property sharing, etc. describe matrilineal. There is very little in this article (if anything) that specifically indicates matriarchal. Not all matrilineal societies are matriarchal in regard to daily decision-making and gender equality.
