to be precise[edit]

this is the second most important position in the french government. first is prime minister, second man is Interior Minister (police+immigration), third is the Defense Minister (in charge of the army). i have currently no time to edit the intro but this info is quite important. also the prime minister is often refered by the french tv journalists as "the government's number 2" (le numéro 2 du gouvernement). Translation?[edit]

The full title for this position is given as "Ministre de l’Intérieur et de l’Aménagement du Territoire". An English translation for this would be nice! --Cryptic C62 · Talk 20:41, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation?[edit]

The pronunciation of ministre given appears to me to be that of something like "ministaire". I would have thought that ministre would be /ministʁ(ə)/. Can any French speakers advise? —Calisthenis(Talk) 17:13, 19 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
