Name[edit]

@Farflow: Hi, I see that you changed the title of the article from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (Pakistan) to the current one Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage (Pakistan) on 10th January, 2016. The current title seems to be incorrect per the official website which states the ministry's name as Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage. Please see if the page needs to be moved. Thanks. Gotitbro (talk) 02:32, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Mar4d: Hi, looks like Farflow is not an active editor anymore, I see that you created the template for this article. Please see if the ministry's name needs to be corrected. Thanks. Gotitbro (talk) 16:13, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Since the name has changed I have moved the page to the new name and updated the article as well. Gotitbro (talk) 20:45, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Gotitbro should it be "Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (Pakistan)"? The official website uses "and" instead of "&".VR talk 14:17, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Vice regent: Yes, we use the official expanded names in titles. Someone moved it from the official expanded title, Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage, as listed on the cabinet website which reflects both divisions of the ministry. A move to the full title would be preferable. Gotitbro (talk) 14:41, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
But this website mentions the shorter version? Any way, if you think the longer title is more official then move it to that.VR talk 13:55, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
