Remove outdated controversies section?

The items mentioned in the controversies section occurred from 16 to 9 years ago. Pretty much ancient history in city politics. Are they still worth mentioning in this article? Or could we at least change the title to something like Historical Controversies? T bonham (talk) 06:16, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

It shows a pattern of Democratic corruption and should be retained, in spite of odious tags recently added.Weatherford (talk) 08:50, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

I think that this reason seems particularly politically motivated. I don't think that these historical controversies should definately be removed from the article, but should probably just be worked into the body of the history section. Aurora _{(User:Horkak)} (talk) 02:50, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

DSA Political Party?

The Democratic Socialists of America often endorse candidates, and members run as part of the Democratic Party. The source provided is not sufficient to convince me that Robin Wonsley Worlobah should be listed as a DSA member on the article. If there were a source where she specifically stated that she was running on the DSA party line, I think that would be sufficient. Aurora _{(User:Horkak)} (talk) 02:50, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

I came here to ask the same question as @Horkak, and I think the sources you provided are sufficient. Opposition Leader of One

Setting aside right here any possible discussion on if Robin Wonsley Worlobah is a Democratic Socialist candidate, are there any grounds for listing her as the opposition leader? Does any source consider her this, or is there precedent for calling individual third party candidates as an opposition leader for this council, for example, with Cameron A. Furthermore, in the info-bar, it lists the Democratic Socialist as even in the minority. Is there any basis for this claim, or should the majority-minority info be absent, like on w/Seattle_Council? Socialist Alternative has one member on the city council, but isn't listed in the opposition.
