The institution's website unequivocally states that the institution considers 1888 to be its founding date. In fact, it is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. Another editor pointed out to me that the founding date originally in this article of 1919 was incorrect. However, he or she has edit warred - without explanation - to retain that incorrect date. Am I missing something? Are there sources that contradict the university's claims? ElKevbo (talk) 00:39, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
No, 1888 is the correct date. It is known that Moorhead was founded are the same time that the Saint Cloud State University was. Randomeditor1000 (talk) 09:34, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
