Algeria, Estonia, Jamaica[edit]

  • Are these countries confirmed will competed in the 49th Miss International Beauty Pageant?
  • Estonia 90% confirmed, Jamaica 95% confirmed, Algeria 85% confirmed...
  • Hope they will have 70 contestants this year, good luck to Miss International!!
  • Miss International 2008 won the best telecast award in http://www.globalbeauties.com.

Miss International The Netherlands 2009[edit]

During a great gala evening at Claus Event Centre in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, on September 12th 2009, hosted by Organisor and National Director Katia Maes, Roline Hund was choosen Miss International The Netherlands 2009. The jury consisted of former Miss Holland (1975) Nanny Nielen, costume designer Rossini van Wijk, Hilly Albertsen Lefebre of The Bruidssuite, Yolanda van Vliet of Mirror Results (makeup sponsor) and prof. photographer, portfolio specialist and organiser Wim van der Stelt. Roline Hund is 20 years old, 174cm (5'8") and her hometown is Almere. First runner up and Miss Intercontinental 2010 is now Sharifa Henar, 24, 174cm (5'8") of Amsterdam. Miss Puerto Rico, Amanda Diaz, has been dethroned[edit]

Amanda Diaz will not going to participate in Miss International 2009.

No substitute has been chosen yet.

Miss South Sudan is not a debuting Country[edit]

Rebecca Yom Chor represented Southern Sudan in the Miss International 2006 Beauty Pageant in Japan and China that brought 53 girls together from the world over. she was on some pageant website been mistaken for and simply rerfed to as Miss Sudan in that pageant, but she is a christian from South Sudan.

South Sudan returns to Miss International 2009 after a 2 year hiatus

Miss South Sudan is not a debuting Country how does Miss Malaika South Sudan suddenly, switch and represent North Sudan, let me see…….. she defected? NOT! You wouldn’t know the facts even when it hit you in the head, so where is the verifiable information on this year’s delegate? Some time you guys go too far with your administrative roles and common sense does not enter into you heads you just want to court stupid controversy that the Muslim North Sudan sent Yom, well they did not Walahi!
