No Sources More sources[edit]

WP:Reliable sources are required for this article. Articles without reliable sources are subject to deletion, but lucky for y'all I'm an inclusionist. Deletions of norefs tags or refimprove tags are only acceptable following addition of verifiable, reliable sources.

  • External Links is NOT the usual place for reliable sources. If the listed websites are the sources, then specific links to the supporting information are required, and those sources should be listed under the ==References== section. If a site requires paid entry, indicate so. If a site requires validated newsmedia registration, indicate so.
  • At the moment, 118 articles link to this one, and it was visited over 2000 times in August 2010 alone - it's too significant to go without proper sourcing. --Lexein (talk) 13:19, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Followup

A reading of WP:RELIABLE will explain why Pageantopolis is a broad, but weak source: it's a fansite, unauthorized, and doesn't cite its own sources, especially of the photos; it should be backstopped wherever possible by other sources like books, Time, Life, Vogue, Pageant News (if there's such a thing) etc. --Lexein (talk) 14:53, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
