Query for Mitch Benn fans[edit]

I'm not sure if any active editors are checking this talk page, but if there are any Mitch Benn fans here on Wikipedia I could use some help. The sentence "The return of the Daleks to television was celebrated in 2004 on [the Now Show] by comedy songwriter Mitch Benn, who penned a special Dalek-themed song for the occasion" used to be in the article Dalek, in the Dalek#Parodies section. It was tagged with a {{fact}} template, as needing a citation. If anyone knows what date this particular song was broadcast, or if it's available in any recordings, I can provide the requested citation and restore the sentence. (It's currently there, but commented out.) Thanks! —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 06:20, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's a reference on the BBC's Doctor Who news site[1]. According to this article it was broadcast on the 6th August. Daibhid C 17:18, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Religious views[edit]

Seriously, folks: isn't that obviously a laugh line? Why is it presented seriously? Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 14:49, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed it. It's a little scrapbooky anyway, just a long quote without any context or why this person's views are relevant. The JPStalk to me 10:29, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Current work[edit]

Mitch Benn presented a one-man show 'I was the 37th Beatle' at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2013. He is playing the Role of Zaphod Beeblebrox in 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Radio Show' starring original cast members, and sporting an extra head and occasional arm.

Could probably do with a list of his One Man Shows.Nickpheas (talk) 14:13, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
