Notability[edit]

This article is about a small town sports team that plays in a minor local league that and I don't think there is justification for a standalone article here. I would nominate this article be merged with the town's article unless notability can be established.Rkehler3 (talk) 03:24, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose As per WP:Notability, notability does not immediately apply to community or organized based sports teams. While teams in lower level leagues may not be the most notable they are notable in there participation in an organized league that is reported on by more than one local media source and is included in the broader organization of Hockey Manitoba. Similar examples abroad include leagues like 2014–15 Southern Football League#Premier Division with teams Arlesey Town F.C.(capacity 150). Krazytea(talk) 17:14, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
