Mobile 2.0 as it is sometimes referred to is, yes, something different to the world wide web, simply by dint of the restrictions inherent in the smaller device size, memory, and processing capabilities. It is however already an exceedingly well defined space, and this page, much as a page on "the world wide web" should not be peppered with examples of companies pushing their own products, or authors pushing their own books. Whomever does spend some time ensuring that wikipedia pages are well looked after please keep an eye on this entry so that it does not become over run with commercial entries.
