Spelling[edit]

Obviously a difficult one to spell! But is this correct? On the UK Ordnance Survey map this hill is spelt Moel Maelogen. Does anyone know which is correct? Debnigo (talk) 21:04, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You raise an interesting point! The spelling as given is that standardly used by the Wind Farm business, and given that that is the locoation's main claim to fame, is probably reason for this spelling when the page was originally started. It's hard to say which is the correct spelling, of course - it's a name, not a Welsh word, and OS maps often have names spelled incorrectly! Anyway, I've created a redirect page from Moel Maelogen, and added that this is the OS spelling in the opening sentence. Hogyn Lleol (talk) 14:11, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Nice one, good solution, thanks. Debnigo (talk) 00:11, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
