Close date[edit]

Removed unsourced statement about closure in 1972 - can not see any sources to that effect that aren't indirectly quoting this article. The reliable sources (local council and V&A museum) state the pottery was still active in 1991 and 1981 respectively. It's possible that part of the site was compulsorily purchased by the NCB - if there are WP:RS stating this then the detail should be refined/reinstated.
