Youth Set Up[edit]

Mold Alex has a youth set up dating back to 1980s however, one of their most successful teams had started out in 1994. Led by a manager called Tony Calclaugh the Mold youth team won a league and Cup double. During this season and many more, a young Goalkeeper called Kris Skates rose to the front. A bit like a majestic salmon leap! For season after season Skates won the Goalkeeper of the year. Representing both club and county. During a game in the under 15s, Skates saved Molds bacon by saving two penalties. Another cup in the bank, get in! Unfortunately for Skates, after a fight outside the local Burger King, Skates injured his back and had to retire from football. A tragic event! However, Skates has now received the Patron of Mold and sets out to be a local Saint even with his atheist views. Onyx100! (talk) 17:08, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
