The date of birth previously published in this article contradicts the most reliable source cited for this girl's age - a 2008 newspaper article that makes quite a big deal out of the fact that she was 7 at the time. This article quotes the child explaining that the character was retooled to be 7 years old, rather than the 11 originally planned, because she received the role. Had she been born in 1998, as this article formerly asserted, she would have been 10 - more appropriate to play an 11-year-old than a 7-year-old. In accordance with WP:BLP, we have no business publishing her date of birth anyway unless it is widely published (see WP:DOB). It might be appropriate to print the year, but not without reliable sourcing to confirm it. I'm surprised this wasn't noticed sooner, actually. Was I ok to put in the {{Birth based on age as of date}} template, stating her birth year as either 2000 or 2001, and her current age as either 11 or 12? –anemoneprojectors– 09:49, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
