Where geographically?[edit]

- Did (monastic) granges exist: only in England? Also Wales, Scvotalnd, and/or Ireland? Also elsewhere in Europe? Acwilson9 (talk) 21:51, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
Meaning vs. origin of the word[edit]
I believe the word comes from the French and means barn, hence a place for stocking food, not growing it.
