Дзэрэн / Зээр[edit]

The page says that Дзэрэн is a corruption of Mongolian Зээр.

Since Зээр is one of those words that contain a hidden 'n' (i.e., in many grammatical contexts Зээр becomes Зээрэн), is it possible that this name was derived from Buryat? It is my understanding that Buryat generally preserves the final -эн in such cases.
