... that the eagle on top of the Monumento a la Raza(pictured) in Mexico City was originally cast for the Federal Legislative Palace's dome? Source: "El águila [...] la cual fue esculpida por Jesús F. Contreras. Originalmente debía coronar el domo del Palacio Legislativo, pero al estallar la Revolución Mexicana se cambió su ubicación." (English: "The eagle [...] sculpted by Jesús F. Contreras. Originally it had to crown the Legislative Palace dome, but after the Mexican Revolution bursted out, its location was changed."[1])
A sculpture replica (for Alt1)
ALT1:... that the eagle (replica pictured) on top of the Monumento a la Raza in Mexico City was cast for the Federal Legislative Palace, which was later replaced with the Monumento a la Revolución? (Source 2: "...y el Monumento a la Raza [...] en cuya punta se encuentra el águila que estaba destinada al Palacio Legislativo de Porfirio Díaz, del que se contruyó sólo una parte, hoy Monumento a la Revolución." (English: "and the Monument to la Raza [...] at the tip of which is the eagle that was meant for the Legislative Palace of Porfirio Díaz, of which only a part was built, today the Monument to the Revolution"[2], subscription required)

Article moved to main space on 1/13 satisfying newness requirement. Substantially exceeds length requirement. Appears to be policy compliant. Earwig not opening for me, but spot check found no issues. Hooks are short enough, and Spanish language sources accepted in good faith from established contributor. Alt 0 is much clearer and so I am approving it and striking alt 1 which I find to be a bit awkward and confusing as to what replaced what. QPQ completed.
