new zealand has a hill in Porangahau,Hawkes bay that has a very long name... its contains about 85-92 letters. the visitors use four wheel vehicles to climb to that hill.

the hill is called Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaunga horonukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu.. the name contains: taumata(brow of a hill) whakatangihanga(music making) koauau(flute) o(of) tamatea(name of a famous chief) turi pukaka(bony knees) piki maunga(climbing a mountain) horo(slip) nuku(move) pokai whenua(widely travelled) ki(to) tana(his) tahu(beloved)

the longest name hill is in the guiness book of world records that strecthes the name to 92 letters. if you combine all the words nd meaning of the hill, it will form a sentence about a man.

"eke out"?[edit]

"Chinese immigrants would eke out an enclave ..."

Would whoever wrote that please go and look up the meaning of "eke out". It doesn't mean what you thing it means. I have changed it to "carve out". If you actually meant something different, find a better word by all means, but not "eke out", which means "to make (resources, materials, articles of consumption, etc.) last the required time by additions, by partial use of a substitute, or by economy", or "to contrive to make (a livelihood), or to support (existence) by various makeshifts". Ah Ken Arrival[edit]

Changed the information of his arrival date from 1840s to 1858 to just 1858 because of the lack of proof that he may have arrived prior to 1858. Corbin Apple (talk) 17:23, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Port Arthur Restaurant[edit]

I collect antique restaurant ware and came here for information on the Port Arthur restaurant because i have some pieces from this classic old place, where i was taken on special occasions as a child. While poking around, i cleaned up just that one portion of the article with some edits, code fixing, and updating external image links. catherine yronwode, not logged in 75.101.104.17 (talk) 01:10, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
