Parent peak[edit]

Peakbagger and LoJ agree that the line parent is Mount Muir although Muir might not be considered and independent peak because it has a clean prominence of 298 feet. LoJ gives Muir's mean prominence as 331 feet. A prior version of this article gave Mount Langley as the line parent. LoJ says Langley is Le Conte's proximate parent (nearest higher neighbor) and Peakbagger agrees. I don't think any of this belongs in the article. –droll [chat] 02:25, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
