Suggested improvements[edit]

Reference to adult movies hardly seems significant in the history of the city
Many white South Africans "emigrating" to Transkei to avoid conscription doesn't sound likely (maybe a small handful) - citation needed.
Ghost town / boom town - I found a recent article about this and added a reference.
UCRFM as one of South Africa's most significant community radio stations - citation needed.

Name change[edit]

OK, I found it: Government Notice No. 830 in Government Gazette No. 26552 of 16 July 2004. The same notice changed Bisho to Bhisho, and a whole lot of other correction-of-spelling changes in the Eastern Cape. - htonl (talk) 22:04, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
