Just what I've been looking for!

I've been trying to learn what I can about the geography of Montreal that I never learned in school in Montreal and have been working on a list of incorporation dates for towns on the island, particularly the west end of said island. This has a BUNCH of info I've been looking for ... but I'll read it later when I have more time. Glad to see others with the same interest. --plaws (talk) 18:17, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

Sources

Hello all. This article is wickedly informative but severely undersourced. There have been ~565 edits since late January that have added content yet not a single source within a ref tag. Such has exacerbated how severely undersourced the article is.

@Roncanada: I struggled with having to do this because I assume good faith your additions were accurate as could be but I reverted the edits due to lack of any supporting sources. I would be pleased to see them returned with sources. Cheers, Hwy43 (talk) 22:53, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

I am now seeing that references have been attempted for the years 1991 through 2022 but they are external links rather than in-line citations. I will convert one to an in-line citation and then invite interested editors to do the same for the remainder. Hwy43 (talk) 05:55, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
Looks like the 2022 reference can be replicated for every year back to 1991, though some entries aren't within the reference involving RCMs. I have taken things backward to 2006 for now. I will likely check back in by Saturday at the latest to continue if necessary. Hwy43 (talk) 06:28, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

Typo?

Could someone help clarify, "Creation of the City of Amqui by the merger of the City of Amqui". Was it supposed to be a "Village" until then? Miqrogroove (talk) 20:40, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
