question?[edit]

Could robbery have been a motive? also "carried no ID" - but Tammy Alexander's ID was removed by her killer when he went through her pockets after he killed her. It's more than possible that Stack's ID was removed by his killer(s) too. Also should it be pointed out in the article that is is more unusual for a male hitchhiker to be the target of nefarious people, compared to female ones? To answer your questions: (1) you are right, it is more than possible that it could've been a robbery, but that is pure speculation. Unless and until you have reliable sources making such speculation, it can't be included in the article. Even then I would be unsure about adding it, because I do not think it is for an encyclopedia to be speculating about such things. We should only deal with what is known and reported. (2) again, without reliable sources explicitly stating the fact, it would be original research to say that it was unusual for a man such as Stack to become a victim. Your sources would also have to be talking about the 1970s, a source saying it is unusual for men to be a target today would be irrelevant. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 00:07, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Paul Benjamin Austin: It's possible, but there's no sources to confirm it. I would refrain from adding the information to the article as original research.--GouramiWatcherTalk 03:52, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
