Work to be done?[edit]
I've done a bunch of work in this edit. Other thoughts:
- Much has been written about the failure of the FBI "profile" in this case—would be worth including.
- Should Ray Jennings' exoneration be a separate article? I think not, but maybe we can add that by breaking this article into sections, such as Murder; Arrest and Conviction; and Exoneration.

Who is the "John Doe"?[edit]
Seeing as he's been arrested for other crimes, it's not as if his identity is actually unknown. — Red XIV (talk) 04:50, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
