The Tocumwal Rail Bridge is not on the Narrandera-Tocumwal railway line (i.e. Tocumwal railway line, New South Wales), it is on the Seymour-Tocumwal railway line (i.e. Tocumwal railway line, Victoria). Tocumwal is a break of gauge station. It is the Victorian Railways broad gauge line that crosses the river to meet the station, the NSWGR standard gauge line stops at the station and does not cross the river.
