Questioning source[edit]

There is a source from a blogger who claims to know Hassan. However, I don't think this qualifies as a valid source, given Wikipedia's rules. Can anyone confirm the information in "Previous Marriages and Children" section? It seems to be like it should be removed, but I'm a newb at this. I raise the concern because these facts could dispel the "honor killing" rumors, but not if the source is unreliable. The source cited was http://zerqaabid.blogspot.com/ KojiroFtT (talk) 18:31, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • We can't use this as a reference. We can use it to form our opinions about how the article can be shaped. I would suggest that in regards to honor killing and domestic violence, it's not necessarily an either/or situation, but that the article does indicate that Hassan is a violent, abusive man and (assuming his guilt for the purpose of this discussion) the murder was not something he did reluctantly out of a sense of societal pressure. --Boston (talk) 14:04, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Repetition[edit]

The "Arrest and conviction of murder" and "Trial" sections are both going over details of the trial. MainlandX (talk) 04:20, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Beheading[edit]

It's gruesome but still why the beheading? What did he do with the head? Typically when you read about Muslims "beheading" someone, it's for some kind of purpose, perhaps to display the head or whatever. He stabbed her 40+ times, so we assume she was dead at the time of the beheading, then what was the purpose of the beheading. Did he take the head away from the body and put it somewhere else? Is any information on the purpose of the beheading? Also, with children and a teenager waiting in the car while Hassan is murdering his wife, then what? Stabbing someone and cutting off their head is messy, bloody work. He would have been covered in blood, with kids in the car so then what? Did he wash himself off? What did he do with the head? How long were the kids in the car until he came back? Did he come back? What do you say to your kids after you've just killed and beheaded their Mother? What did Hassan say? There's a lot of "family reaction" in the Article (too much, IMO) and not enough detail on the actual murder which is the whole subject of the Article. Both the Hassan's wanted "accuracy" about Muslims, and yet this Article seems to avoid telling the ugly and detailed truth of this event.Tym Whittier (talk) 16:14, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
