I think this is a very interesting comment, having just finished reading "My Cousin Rachel". Why would Rachel save Phillip from meningitis, only to then attempt to poison him? I was undecided about Rachel's attempted murder guilt till I read YOUR comment. I hope this posts, as I'm not sure how the talk on wiki works. it would look odd if she didnt try and save him wouldnt it? also is the meningitis in fact her poisoning him as well?
