Not biased at all![edit]

As of May 28, 2008, the article says Recently the name has come into widespread use to describe the alleged plan to construction a new, "four football fields wide", highway running through Mexico, the US and Canada. Those who try to deny plans for the NSH use a similar formulation in an attempt to smear NSH opponents. And, the only external link is to a "debunking" article in The Nation and not to any of the endless series of articles offering supporting evidence.

The "NAFTA Superhighway" is a conspiracy theory, end of story. There's no such thing being planned, and there never was. 75.76.213.106 (talk) 09:30, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Big highways tear up communities, and countryside; not to mention that they are a waste of money that will continue our countries dependence on oil. The route being built in Indiana is completely unnecessary. And the corridor is actually 1/2 mile wide.

Amazing how many uninformed people troll wikipedia deleting anything that goes against their orthodox belief system. 'why is a super highway bad' do research please. This is why wikipedia fails.

Conspiracy theory[edit]

The article needs to make it explicit why this thing is associated with conspiracy theories. There are, as stated above, numerous reasons (environmental etc) to oppose the building of more roads, but I struggle to see why conspiracy theorists might jump on a highway project in particular as forming part of a conspiracy to undermine US sovereignty.
