Chart Error?[edit]

In the Wild Card berth chart, the "NFC East" header appears twice: once at the top and between 2000 and 2002. There were no Wild Card teams from the division in 2001, so that's not the issue. I was wondering if it was an error to list the heading twice, or if the intention is to divide the pre-2002 realignment era from the modern one. Honestly, I don't think it's necessary to divide them as it messes up the flow of the chart, but it's not that big of a deal, I suppose.

History[edit]

The part of the "History" section that talks about several NFC East teams playing outside their cities seems irrelevant, especially since it ultimately goes off on a tangent about AFC East and NFC West teams that also play outside their cities. Why is this notable? Also, if we're being pedantic, the Cardinals moving out of Phoenix doesn't quite fit this distinction since they changed their name to the Arizona Cardinals, which is an accurate name. I suggest this entire portion be removed.

1982 championships[edit]

Because of the strike the NFL did not have the division set up at the end of the season. I don't think or any team in the NFC E/W and old central or AFC E/W and old central should be listed asthe 1982 champions. I think the table should be blank for 1982 with the team with best record listed in the footnote. It should not be writtent to reflect the team as the champion of the division for that season Smith03 22:08, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia Section[edit]

I removed the Trivia section from this article for 2 reasons - the fact was irrelevant and poorly written. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tarch2ta (talkcontribs) 18:12, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Capitol[edit]

I don't think it is at all correct to say the Capitol division is now the EastSmith03 (talk) 18:59, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Eagles 2010[edit]

They are incorrectly listed as a wildcard qualified this year, aren't they? Shouldn't they be counted as a Division winner, with no NFC East wilcard qualifier? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.9.51.207 (talk) 21:40, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Giants 2007[edit]

Yes they won the Super Bowl that year, but they were not the division champion. The Cowboys were. The Giants are incorrectly listed as the division champion from that year. Someone has changed this erroneously several times.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.20.179.220 (talk) 16:47, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ties Standardization[edit]

If a team has no ties during a season, then the tie part of the standings shouldn't be represented (e.g. the Cowboys going 12-4 this year would not have their record as 12-4-0.) I edited out a bunch of them because it makes it look cluttered. 70.208.71.25 (talk) 06:18, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can't see team names[edit]

The Names are impossible to see as they are in white on a light grey background. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheEarth1974 (talkcontribs) 16:07, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
