2020 election section needs "denewsing"[edit]

The paragraph starting with "In June 2020" needs to be cleaned up a bit to read more like a Wikipedia article rather than a news story &c. This is happening more & more with Wikipedia where the "views/personal life/controversy" sub sections become just a ill-suited rehash of news/tabloids reports instead of the archetypal serious tone to a article. These are articles on a subject non a news delivery service &c. Text mdnp (talk) 20:06, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Because the only sources on this event are news articles it will need to draw heavily from a news perspective. Can you be more specific on what you'd like changed? HenryCrun15 (talk) 22:35, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Name change[edit]

From a recent press release, it appears the party has changed its name to the New Zealand Outdoors and Freedom party to emphasise the antivax angle. I've poked around on their website, and there's a new logo, but doesn't seem to be any formal announcement. The change appears to have happened sometime in November 2021. The register of political parties has not yet been updated.--IdiotSavant (talk) 23:29, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The register of political parties was updated in April - ref here.--IdiotSavant (talk) 00:29, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Logo needs updating[edit]

The logo shown in the infobox is out of date. I'm very happy working on article text, but when it comes to images either I am allergic to the upload process or an editor has me on a blacklist. Either way, I've spent enough hours dealing with licensing nonsense over the years and given up trying. So if someone else could be the hero I need, here's the new image.
