Indian Army[edit]

Hello fellow editor @Necrothesp, I noticed you recently reverted an edit of mine, and since I do not want to editwar, I've opened this discussion. I think it might be worth linking to the article you're mentioning but there is no need for the adjective. We could instead put it like this if you'd like:

[[British Indian Army|Indian Army during the Raj]]

Not really bothered, although I should point out that "British Indian Army" is used in many other articles as a descriptive term. I completely agree it was just the Indian Army (and I've made this point many times myself), but when both the modern Indian Army and the historic Indian Army are mentioned it becomes more complicated to distinguish them. I would actually prefer it if the article British Indian Army was renamed, as we don't usually make names up on Wikipedia. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:38, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you aren't bothered, I think should perform the change. Besides, I too think it would be great and much encyclopedic if the article British Indian Army itself was renamed. Thanks. PadFoot2008 (talk) 14:09, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
